Next Chapter Meeting - July 31st

Please join us for the July meeting of the Central California Coast Chapter of the Society for Conservation Biology.

Where: Arastradero Preserve

1530 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto, CA

    When: Thursday, July 31, 6:30 – 9:00 pm

    Why: To network with local conservation biology students and professionals, learn something new about on-the-ground application of conservation biology in central California, hear about upcoming programs and field trips, have a great meal, and have fun!

Networking begins at 6:30 pm. The business meeting will start at 7:00 pm with dinner at 7:30 pm. The program starts at 8:00 pm.

Dinner will be pizza from Pizz’a Chicago in Palo Alto (approximate cost ~$10/person).


Our featured dinner speaker is Peggy Olofson, P.E., of Olofson Environmental, Inc. As the Director of the San Francisco Estuary Invasive Spartina Project, Peggy will be talking about the challenges and successes of this ambitious project to control non-native cordgrass in San Francisco Bay.
